Since its inception, SAFI has made a measurable and lasting impact on household food security in Malawi. Through its practical training and community-based approach, SAFI has trained over 300 families, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to move from food dependency to sustainable food production.

These households have adopted improved farming and food production practices that enable them to produce sufficient food throughout the year. As a result, families experience improved nutrition, increased resilience to seasonal food shortages, and reduced vulnerability to climate-related shocks.
